Sports Therapy

Sports Therapy is an aspect of healthcare that is specifically concerned with the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Our Sports Therapists utilise a variety of highly skilled treatment techniques and rehabilitation exercises. With access to world-class training facilities, a rehabilitation plan can be individualised to you, returning you back to optimum levels of functional, occupational and sports specific fitness, regardless of age and ability.


Our Sports Therapists treat the following conditions:

  • Sports Injuries including runners knee, iliotibial band syndrome, patella / Achilles tendinopathy, tennis & golfers elbow, repetitive strain injury
  • Pre & post operation rehabilitation
  • Soft tissue injuries including muscle strains and contusions
  • Ligament Sprains
  • Neck, headaches & migraine symptoms
  • Spinal conditions including scoliosis, stress fractures

Guest Notice – Face Coverings

From Saturday 19th September, it will be essential for every person in Surrey Sports Park’s communal areas to wear a face covering. This is in-line with the campus-wide policy introduced by the University of Surrey.

The policy does not apply whilst taking part in sport and exercise and activity areas are exempt.

The University considers that the responsibility of wearing a face covering sits with individuals and we expect all our staff, students and public to adhere to this requirement where possible.

Please be mindful and respectful towards members of our community who, due to exceptional circumstances, may be unable to wear a face covering; their reasons may not be visible to others.
