Squash Programme

One of the healthiest sports!

Squash is one of the healthiest sports according to personal trainers, coaches and exercise physiologists surveyed by Forbes Magazine. In 40 minutes of squash you get a massive cardiorespiratory workout. Extended rallies and almost constant running builds muscular strength and endurance in the lower body, while lunges, twists and turns increase flexibility in the back and abdomen. For people getting into the game, it’s almost too much to sustain, but once you get there, there’s no looking back.

As Director of Squash I’d like to invite you to check out the vibrant squash community we have at Surrey Sports Park. There’s an entry point to our squash club whatever level you may be, and our squash members are (I think!) a welcoming and friendly bunch.

I aim to provide sessions for anyone who makes contact and am confident you will receive a warm welcome and world-class service, while improving your game and fitness along the way.

    Guest Notice – Face Coverings

From Saturday 19th September, it will be essential for every person in Surrey Sports Park’s communal areas to wear a face covering. This is in-line with the campus-wide policy introduced by the University of Surrey.

The policy does not apply whilst taking part in sport and exercise and activity areas are exempt.

The University considers that the responsibility of wearing a face covering sits with individuals and we expect all our staff, students and public to adhere to this requirement where possible.

Please be mindful and respectful towards members of our community who, due to exceptional circumstances, may be unable to wear a face covering; their reasons may not be visible to others.

    Thank you,

    Surrey Sports Park
