COVID-19 POLICY- If you are booked onto a swim session, you are now required to bring a locker token or pound coin with you for use of the lockers. As an extra precaution, we are also now encouraging swimmers to wipe down cubicle & locker door handles after use with the wipes provided from the dispensers located in the changing village.
SHOWER POLICY- we ask that everyone showers before entering the pool, regardless of how much of the body will be in the water. Showering should consist of washing hair, face, arms, upper body and legs and should last for 20 seconds. Anyone we see who has not showered will be asked to return to the shower area.
CHILDREN SWIMMING- children aged 9-16yrs can swim alone in the pool but a parent or guardian (over 18) must be in the building. Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied in the pool by a parent or guardian (over 18) and the ratio is 1 adult to a maximum of 2 children.
WORTH NOTING- lockers in the changing room take a £1 coin. Towels can be brought onto poolside and left on the side wall. Parents/guests can watch from the spectator viewing area, but please note we have a no photography policy on poolside. Hair straighteners cost £1 for 90 seconds. Hair dryers are free of charge.

Covid-19 Tier 4 update
We’re sad to announce that following the government announcement that we are in Tier 4 Surrey Sports Park will be closed until we are advised we can reopen.
An email with more information has been sent to all our members. If you do not receive it then please check your junk folder or contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Keep safe and well during this time and we hope to see you back at Surrey Sports Park again soon!
From Saturday 19th September, it will be essential for every person in Surrey Sports Park’s communal areas to wear a face covering. This is in-line with the campus-wide policy introduced by the University of Surrey.
The policy does not apply whilst taking part in sport and exercise and activity areas are exempt.
The University considers that the responsibility of wearing a face covering sits with individuals and we expect all our staff, students and public to adhere to this requirement where possible.
Please be mindful and respectful towards members of our community who, due to exceptional circumstances, may be unable to wear a face covering; their reasons may not be visible to others.
