Surrey Sports Park Advanced Badminton Club

Surrey Sports Park Advanced Badminton Club is a successful and well established badminton club in Surrey. We have 8 teams in different leagues throughout Surrey and aspire to be one of the strongest clubs in the country. We love to welcome new members - however, this club night is not suitable for beginners or players looking to play on a more casual basis. We believe we have created a fantastic badminton community and it is ever-growing. Some of our badminton club players range from ex-international, current county and experienced club players. Our Men’s 1st team won the Surrey Division 1 league back to back in the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons.

Badminton club members can attend our Club Night on a Wednesday for free. Club Night is suited to those who play to an intermediate/advanced standard and play competitively.

Guest Notice – Face Coverings

From Saturday 19th September, it will be essential for every person in Surrey Sports Park’s communal areas to wear a face covering. This is in-line with the campus-wide policy introduced by the University of Surrey.

The policy does not apply whilst taking part in sport and exercise and activity areas are exempt.

The University considers that the responsibility of wearing a face covering sits with individuals and we expect all our staff, students and public to adhere to this requirement where possible.

Please be mindful and respectful towards members of our community who, due to exceptional circumstances, may be unable to wear a face covering; their reasons may not be visible to others.

Thank you,

Surrey Sports Park
