Surrey Sports Park tennis club provides a comprehensive tennis offering for all ages and standards ranging from complete beginners to intermediate and advanced levels.
The tennis programme is designed to be fun and ideal for all adults whether you wish to play competitive tennis or enjoy the social side of the sport. We aim to offer a full programme of tennis activities including weekly classes for all standards covering basic technique for our beginners and intermediate players to high intensity drills for the more advanced players. For the more competitive player we have numerous teams playing in local inter-club leagues with matches at the weekends and weekdays evenings. Member benefits also include free court hire, reduced group coaching rates and the opportunity to attend our twice weekly cardio tennis sessions free of charge.
Our weekly club sessions are open to all members and a great way to meet other tennis players for singles and doubles match play. The friendly atmosphere is always welcoming to new members. These take place on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. No signup is needed, just come along and enjoy some fun competitive tennis.

If it’s personal attention and flexibility you want from your tennis coach, look no further. Whether you want to improve a particular aspect of your game or seeking some help with your child’s development, private lessons can be structured to fit your needs. Please contact Nick directly for availability and costs.
From Saturday 19th September, it will be essential for every person in Surrey Sports Park’s communal areas to wear a face covering. This is in-line with the campus-wide policy introduced by the University of Surrey.
The policy does not apply whilst taking part in sport and exercise and activity areas are exempt.
The University considers that the responsibility of wearing a face covering sits with individuals and we expect all our staff, students and public to adhere to this requirement where possible.
Please be mindful and respectful towards members of our community who, due to exceptional circumstances, may be unable to wear a face covering; their reasons may not be visible to others.
