Fantastic Facilities

Strength & Conditioning provision at Surrey Sports Park is delivered on-site using a range of our high-performance facilities, including a dedicated strength and conditioning gym and 40m outdoor track. We also offer a distance coaching service, which provides an attractive offering for athletes and coaches looking for specialist strength and conditioning support but who may be unable to visit us.

Hi I’m Tom, I’m the Lead S&C coach at Surrey Sports Park delivering S&C services to Surrey Storm (Super league netball), Surrey Scorchers (BBL basketball), TASS athletes, and university dual career athletes. I also work as a Performance Rehabilitation Coach with the England Lacrosse national women’s team where, in conjunction with the physiotherapist, I oversee the late-stage rehabilitation for their injured athletes. I also teach at the University of Surrey on their BSc Sports Science programme.

I am an accredited (UKSCA–ASCC) strength and conditioning (S&C) coach. I have an MSc in Strength and Conditioning Sciences as well as a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Science. I’ve worked in high performance sport for several years, delivering S&C services to a range of athletes including Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth, and other professional athletes.

Please feel free to contact me about your Strength & Conditioning requirements.

Guest Notice – Face Coverings

From Saturday 19th September, it will be essential for every person in Surrey Sports Park’s communal areas to wear a face covering. This is in-line with the campus-wide policy introduced by the University of Surrey.

The policy does not apply whilst taking part in sport and exercise and activity areas are exempt.

The University considers that the responsibility of wearing a face covering sits with individuals and we expect all our staff, students and public to adhere to this requirement where possible.

Please be mindful and respectful towards members of our community who, due to exceptional circumstances, may be unable to wear a face covering; their reasons may not be visible to others.

Thank you,

Surrey Sports Park
