Strength & Conditioning provision at Surrey Sports Park is delivered on-site using a range of our high-performance facilities, including a dedicated strength and conditioning gym and 40m outdoor track. We also offer a distance coaching service, which provides an attractive offering for athletes and coaches looking for specialist strength and conditioning support but who may be unable to visit us.
I looked forward to every session we had together. and most importantly for me I respected and trusted them 100% to tell me when to stop and when to rest and recover because that is my biggest weakness! As many before have said it isn't always about training harder but training smarter. I may be the muscles but James is the brain!

I have never worked with a more professional, athlete-centred group of S&C coaches and I hope to continue to work with them for a long time to come.

Hi – I’m Tom, Strength & Conditioning Coach at Surrey Sports Park.
I provide strength and conditioning services to a variety of athletes, coaches and teams at Surrey Sports Park, across a range of sports and sporting disciplines.
I’m currently completing an MSc in Strength & Conditioning Science at St Mary’s University College. I’m an Accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach by the UK Strength & Conditioning Association (UKSCA) and the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Please feel free to contact me about your Strength & Conditioning requirements.
From Saturday 19th September, it will be essential for every person in Surrey Sports Park’s communal areas to wear a face covering. This is in-line with the campus-wide policy introduced by the University of Surrey.
The policy does not apply whilst taking part in sport and exercise and activity areas are exempt.
The University considers that the responsibility of wearing a face covering sits with individuals and we expect all our staff, students and public to adhere to this requirement where possible.
Please be mindful and respectful towards members of our community who, due to exceptional circumstances, may be unable to wear a face covering; their reasons may not be visible to others.
