We are delighted to announce that subject to Government guidance Surrey Sports Park will be reopening on Monday 12th April.

We totally understand that you may not be ready to return immediately. In this case we can suspend your membership to a specific date in the future. If this is the case, please email us at memberships@surreysportspark.co.uk letting us know when you would like to return.

Once we have been given clear instruction from the government on when we can reopen we will contact you via email, website and social media.

All activities must be pre-booked before your arrival at SSP. We will be implementing a queueing system prior to checking in for your pre-booked activity.

• We ask that you endeavour to keep the government specified distance from other people.
• Gym equipment will be spaced out and various areas of the facility may be used to give everybody more space.
• Fitness Classes will be held in the Arena, which is much larger than our current fitness studios. This will ensure adequate space between all participants.
• Please use the one-way directional signage to ensure that foot traffic moves in a single direction throughout SSP.
• We ask that you endeavour to keep the government specified distance from other people.

• We will implement an enhanced cleaning regime, allowing for cleaning between each booked session (gym and fitness classes).
• Cleaning products will be provided throughout the gym and the member will be expected to clean equipment before and after use.
• Hand sanitising gel will be provided at key areas of the facility, and you will be expected to sanitise your hands prior to entering the facility.
• No changing rooms or showers will be available in the 1st phase of re-opening, so please come dressed ready to exercise.
• Drinking fountains will be available but may only be used to fill a container. You may not drink from a fountain. We also ask that after filling your container you wipe down the contact areas of the fountain.

• All sessions (gym and fitness classes) must be pre-booked before your arrival at SSP. This can be done on our new booking system.
• You must show your proof of booking before entering SSP.
• You will be allowed to make one booking per day.
• You will be expected to check-in upon arrival.
• Failure to show up to your booking, check-in or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a small financial penalty and inability to make future bookings. This is to ensure that everybody gets to use SSP whilst we are at a reduced capacity.

To make the most out of your session and to avoid waiting in a lengthy queue, we ask that you arrive:

• 15 minutes early for structured activities such as classes (activities where an instructor/coach is present and you need to wait for everyone to arrive before starting)
• At the scheduled start time for unstructured sessions (where you can begin as soon as you have checked in and are ready)

At the moment, we are only able to accept card payments.

Although we are yet to have an exact date for this, we are monitoring both government and national governing body guidelines to make pool space available as soon as it is safe to do so.

All swimming lessons have been suspended until 31st August, which will be extended if necessary.

Paid for sessions will automatically resume once we reopen the programme.

Private Lessons which are temporarily suspended will also resume once we reopen.

No, as you have already made a payment, your place on the programme will be held by us.

Once we have a clear understanding of when the programme will resume, we will contact all members directly.

At present, our squash courts, arenas, studios, gym, swimming pool and Surrey Summit – are open.

Starbucks is open for takeaway and outdoor seating only and Bench Bar will be reopening one 17th May.

All pitch bookings will be processed by our Client Services team. Please contact them at sspbookings@surrey.ac.uk with details of your enquiry such as date, time and activity. Please email as far in advance as possible as we cannot guarantee that bookings at short notice will be possible.
Bookings will not be available on our online booking platform.
