You may be thrown by the title of our most popular course, ‘Choose To Lose’, because the main focus is not actually weight-loss alone. Throughout this course we aim for our participants to gain fitness, improve overall health, increase their confidence and connect with like-minded individuals.
Our trainers support our participants no matter where they are in their fitness journey; whether it’s your first time exercising or it’s your third Choose To Lose course and you’ve levelled up significantly, they cater for everyone’s needs.
The course participants and trainers have developed great relationships through easy-to-understand explanations of how the course will be run, a constant reinforcement of healthy habits, regular emails with motivational reminders, and a tough yet emphatic and fun approach to exercise.
There have been some incredible transformation stories from our previous participants, and SSP trainer James remembers one particularly impressive story:
“David told me that coming into the course he had a full knee replacement and was seeking a way of getting back into fitness, post-operation. Being aware of the previous rehabilitation he had been through allowed me to adjust any exercises that would potentially put excessive strain on the joint through impact or overuse. Across the course I focused on making him push his abilities as much as possible to both develop his full body strength and balance.”
In turn, David explained: “The course was excellent. It was thought-out and progressive in difficulty. I was looking for the course to get my fitness kick-started after a period of low activity and knee replacement surgery, and it certainly did that. James was a patient and professional instructor. He was always looking out for me, and indeed the other participants, and adapting exercises when my knee was not up to doing the set exercise. I was doing things at the end of the course of which I was not capable at the beginning. I enjoyed the camaraderie which built up during the course and four of us have now signed up for Battlecamp. I thoroughly recommend the course for anyone looking to give their fitness a boost before moving on to greater things.”
