Following the most recent government announcement regarding Covid-19, Surrey Sports Park will be temporarily closing from Thursday 5th November until at least Wednesday 2nd December.
Providing that national restrictions are lifted, and Surrey’s local restrictions allow, we will re-open on Thursday 3 December 2020.
All memberships will be automatically suspended, members do not need to take any action. Any bookings you may have had from Thursday 5th November to Wednesday 2nd December have been cancelled.
Although there are some exemptions for elite athletes and a number of our performance programmes, all other sporting activity including casual and public sessions will fall in line with national guidelines and will be suspended from close of play Wednesday 4th November.
The health and wellbeing of our community remains our highest priority and we look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as we are able. We’re confident that the range of measures and the clear guidance we’ve put in place ensures all our members and guests can enjoy their activity in a safe and friendly environment.
In the meantime, please follow SSP social media channels for daily challenges, tips and competitions. Ideal if you need a little inspiration and support for your home workout!
As ever thank you to all of our wonderful members and staff for your kindness, understanding and support during this difficult time.
Keep safe and well during this time and we hope to see you back at Surrey Sports Park again soon!

From Saturday 19th September, it will be essential for every person in Surrey Sports Park’s communal areas to wear a face covering. This is in-line with the campus-wide policy introduced by the University of Surrey.
The policy does not apply whilst taking part in sport and exercise and activity areas are exempt.
The University considers that the responsibility of wearing a face covering sits with individuals and we expect all our staff, students and public to adhere to this requirement where possible.
Please be mindful and respectful towards members of our community who, due to exceptional circumstances, may be unable to wear a face covering; their reasons may not be visible to others.
