We also welcome students from all colleges, schools and universities.
No, although we do accommodate classes, taster days and strength and conditioning sessions for schools on request. Please get in touch with sspbookings@surrey.ac.uk for more details.
When playing sport we ask that our guests wear sports clothing and trainers, this means that no jeans are allowed and tops must be worn when visiting the Sports Park. If you are using any of our courts then we only allow clean non-marking soled trainers and if you are found not to be wearing these we will ask you to change your footwear.
We actively monitor attendance to sessions & court bookings for a number of reasons:
We actively monitor attendance to sessions & court bookings for a number of reasons:
1. To ensure those that are genuinely able to attend, can attend!
2. To monitor successes of our classes in order to make decisions over the programme.
3. To ensure people are using the sessions/courts when they say they are as you may be preventing others from gaining access.
Memberships can be converted by contacting our sales team at sales@surreysportspark.co.uk. For more information and to compare our different public memberships, click here.

Supervision is determined by a child’s age and not swimming ability, in the case of an emergency there is a requirement for an adult (over 18) to be responsible for a child, under the age of 8. This supervision must be within arm’s length and therefore requires the adult to be in the water, one adult may supervise 2 under 8’s. A child between the ages of 8 and 16 still requires adult supervision, however this supervision does not need to be within arm’s length, and therefore the supervising adult does not have to be in the water, but must be easily contactable within Surrey Sports Park.
All pools use chemicals to maintain hygiene in the pool. At Surrey Sports Park we use Ultra Violet (UV) systems which reduce the need for chemicals and therefore we run the pool at lower levels of chlorine compared to chemical controlled pools only. The two main chemicals we use are Sodium Hypochlorite for disinfecting and Hydrochloric Acid for pH Balance
