AGP FAQs
Our pitches are initially being opened to our existing clients first. Once they have been given time to confirm bookings we will be able to offer bookings out to new enquiries.
Please bear with us during this time where we may have many enquiries. We will be working hard to give everyone an opportunity to return to sport as soon as it is safe to do so.
All pitch bookings will be processed by our Client Services team. Please contact them at sspbookings@surrey.ac.uk with details of your enquiry such as date, time and activity. Please give at least two working days between your request and the booking date as we cannot guarantee that bookings within two working days will be possible.
Bookings will not be available on our online booking platform.
We are following the Government Guidelines and as such are limiting the total number of people on a pitch to 30 people (this includes coaches or referees).
For 5 a-side bookings the middle pitch will remain closed to allow greater distance between groups.
All bookings must send one person from the group into reception to register their attendance. Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your booking. The rest of the group should meet to the left of our building, on the patio area by the Tennis Courts, and only make their way to the pitch once all of the group is present.
Please wait outside the fenced facility area until the previous booking has left. You must leave the pitch no later than the end of your booking time. This may mean finishing early to allow time to collect belongings. This allows any subsequent bookings to start on time.
We ask all visitors to Surrey Sports Park to familiarise themselves with the NGB guidance for their sport. During the activity the person who makes the booking is expected to take responsibility for ensuring that these guidelines are adhered to, in order to promote a safe environment for the sport.
Please do not hesitate to ask us if you have any questions around this. Here is the FA guidance (from 18/07/20) and the England Lacrosse guidance (from 30/07/20).
Covid-19 Tier 4 update
We’re sad to announce that following the government announcement that we are in Tier 4 Surrey Sports Park will be closed until we are advised we can reopen.
An email with more information has been sent to all our members. If you do not receive it then please check your junk folder or contact memberships@surreysportspark.co.uk
Keep safe and well during this time and we hope to see you back at Surrey Sports Park again soon!
From Saturday 19th September, it will be essential for every person in Surrey Sports Park’s communal areas to wear a face covering. This is in-line with the campus-wide policy introduced by the University of Surrey.
The policy does not apply whilst taking part in sport and exercise and activity areas are exempt.
The University considers that the responsibility of wearing a face covering sits with individuals and we expect all our staff, students and public to adhere to this requirement where possible.
Please be mindful and respectful towards members of our community who, due to exceptional circumstances, may be unable to wear a face covering; their reasons may not be visible to others.
Thank you,
Surrey Sports Park
