Our great variety of yoga workshops are the perfect way to go a little bit deeper. The two hour workshops are a time to hone your technique or gain a better understanding, designed to improve your practice by leaps and bounds.
This workshop is aimed specifically at climbers of all abilities wanting to take their climbing to another level through the practice of yoga.
In this workshop, we will work through some of the key strengthening and stabilising muscles needed for climbers; tapping into the shoulders, core and hips to develop strength, flexibility and balance. During these poses we will be working on drawing focus on our breath – something which is essential for aiding concentration and focus when tackling a trickier route on the wall.
You should leave the workshop with a working knowledge of several poses you can practice regularly at home or directly after climbing in order to improve climbing performance and most importantly, prevent injury and aid recovery.
