My passion lies within strength and conditioning and athletic performance development, specifically helping athletes in team and individual sports to improve their performance.
Having completed a Sports Science degree as well as gaining experience working within a professional football academy I have developed a wide range of knowledge which I enjoy passing on to help others reach their performance and fitness goals.
Come and see me for advice on weight loss, building lean muscle mass, form and technique correction, nutritional advice, or dealing with anxieties around exercise/the gym environment. I will be happy to help!
My own training consists of a range of free-weight exercises, calisthenics movement, HIIT, core strength, running and stretching. I also train for Roller Derby twice a week with Surrey Roller Girls. I have a keen interest in skating, climbing, handstands, yoga, cycling, and vegan/vegetarian nutrition in partnership with exercise.
I have always had a massive passion and interest in sport, particularly Formula 1 and football. I took up a personal training course with Future Fit Training in March of 2017 and have been studying ever since. I achieved my level 2 fitness instructor qualification in March of 2018, a year and a couple of months on from that I passed my level 3 qualification.
I have seen fitness benefit me in so many ways, I have personally used fitness as a de-stressing tool and therefore understands its benefits both physically and mentally. Consequently, I am a big believer in training holistically and developing my clients as a whole person.
My training and main speciality is in powerlifting and strength training- analysing and performing the main disciplines involved within the sport and looking at corrective work to aid my own training as well as the development of others.
I also focus on the importance of flexibility and mobility within my training and with clients during programmes. Whether you’re taking your first steps into strength training or looking to progress your current routine I have the knowledge and passion to help.
Sport and Fitness has been a big interest for me for a long time. I started off playing Football as a Goalkeeper, until I converted to a Centre Back. A knee injury stopped me playing Football and started to become very interested in Rugby. Moving to University, I joined their Rugby Club as a Hooker or Forward and have been in love with the sport ever since. Being a huge Arsenal FC fan has its ups and downs, but being an equally as big of a Harlequins FC fan has its perks, meeting most of the team on a daily basis.
Fitness was a hobby I got in to just before college and have been eager to train ever since. I would train friends when I was with them and always felt happy knowing they could see progress because of me. During University, I gained my Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Training qualifications, along with other qualifications. Even though I have a number of qualifications, I am always eager to learn more from my fellow colleagues or research. If you ever need advice, please feel free to approach me or get in contact.
