If you’re visiting Surrey Sports Park and have questions regarding accessibility of our building or facilities, please read the information below. If anything is unclear, please call our front of house team on 01483 689111 and they will be happy to help.
You’ll find clear signage for building facilities in our reception area and written directional signage at key points of circulation routes. There is step free access throughout the building via lifts, (though some doors in corridors have to be opened manually) and we have recently introduced Braille menus for those eating in The Bench Sports Bar.
A chair hoist is available for those with low mobility wishing to enter the pool.
Our gym is designed with Cardio, fixed machines and Free weights that can be adapted to be used for those with limited movement or limited sight.
Our parking spaces may be used by visitors who are blue badge holders to park up to 5 hours. Please note: Time limit restrictions apply to all Surrey Sports Park Parking and car registration must be supplied at reception if wishing to park for over 3 hours.
Surrey Sports Park has three Accessible Toilets– you will find these located on the Ground & First floors. There is level access to all accessible toilets and you will find pictorial signage on or near the toilet doors. The nearest accessible toilet is approximately 20m (21yd 2ft) from the main entrance. Please not that accessible toilets are not for the exclusive use of people with disabilities.
The Sports Park has five Accessible Changing Rooms– you will find these located on the ground floor. There is level access to all accessible changing rooms and accessible toilet facilities within the changing rooms. The nearest accessible changing room is approximately 20m (21yd 2ft) from the main entrance. Please note that the changing rooms are not for the exclusive use of people with disabilities.
We also have one Universal Changing Room available to anyone wishing to change in private.
