Services Available

Physiological testing
VO2 max test with anaerobic threshold and maximal aerobic power. This test is the ultimate fitness test and allows HR and power training zones to be prepared on an individual basis.

Strength and Conditioning
A well-planned long-term approach to training is crucial for both the physical and physiological development of an individual. A strength and conditioning coach can work with you to design appropriately periodised programs that address your individual needs whilst encompassing all aspects of athletic training, not merely endurance work, to both improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.

Performance Coaching
Having the right kit and knowing your fitness levels is useful but fine tuning your training with discipline specific coaching will ensure that you train efficiently and build on both your strengths and weaknesses for swimming, cycling and running.

Injury Prevention Screening
Inflexibility, poor motor control, previous injury, poor stability and posture are just some components that can lead to future injury & time away from training and competition. An injury prevention screen aims to identify such areas and provide targeted exercises to redress these imbalances and help optimise performance.

Soft Tissue Therapy
Trigger points, muscular adhesions, muscle tension and scar tissue all contribute to an inefficient muscular system, occasional pain & niggles & therefore a reduced performance. Soft tissue work directed specifically at your problem area (this can be identified more effectively during an injury prevention screen) can aid to alleviate these issues for a better performance.

Nutrition and Body composition
Excess fat offers no performance enhancement so monitoring body composition using skinfolds and a nutrition evaluation will allow you to make better progress in your training and competition by ensuring that you not only fuel yourself right but that you do it at the right time with the right food and drink.

Yoga
Triathletes are required to be in peak condition for three. Over time, this type of training can cause imbalances in the body, which can result in injury if not addressed. Yoga can help by going beyond simple stretching. By working the body through all planes of motion, yoga creates balance, stability, core strength and flexibility.
