This Weekend at Surrey Sports Park

There is a busy weekend of live sport ahead at Surrey Sports Park to keep you occupied, including international lacrosse and professional basketball!

Friday
Our weekly live music night in The Bench Sports Bar gets under way at 7pm, featuring in-house sensation Artit Aukko. Members will be familiar with Artit who can often be found serving coffee in Starbucks, but also turns his hand to a microphone and guitar playing familiar acoustic tunes. From 5pm you can also grab a bottle of house wine for £10 or a pitcher of Becks for £8, as well as the usual Sports Card offers available daily (see below).

Saturday
England Women’s Lacrosse are visiting Surrey Sports Park to take on the Princeton Tigers from the US. Princeton, one of the States’ top lacrosse sides, are two-times Ivy League champions and will prove to be a tough test for the home side. This ideal opportunity to watch high-quality lacrosse in Surrey is free and there is no need to book! The game starts at 10am.

The Surrey Heat return to Guildford on Saturday evening for their first home BBL Cup fixture of the season against the Plymouth Raiders (7pm). Unbeaten at home, the Heat will be hopeful of cup glory this year and will want a big home support to cheer them on. The Bench Sports Bar will be open throughout the day, showing the qualifying session from the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Soccer Saturday and live Premiership football and rugby.

Sunday
The Bench Sports Bar is the place to be to watch the F1 Grand Prix and Liverpool’s clash with Newcastle United. You can also catch QPR’s bottom of the table battle with Reading.

Sports Card Offers
Throughout the weekend you can take advantage of some great food and drink offers in The Bench Sports Bar. Card holders can get 20% off all food all day, every day (until Sunday 10pm). During live sport fixtures you can also get a free bowl of chips with your pint of beer or soft drink, or a glass of house wine!
