Oman National Team train at Surrey Sports Park

07 September 2012

A team of footballers from the Oman National Football squad trained at Surrey Sports Park this week ahead of their friendly fixture against the Republic of Ireland next Tuesday.

The Middle-Eastern team, lead by former PSG and Rangers manager and French international Paul Le Guen, took part in a varied training session on the pitches at Surrey Sports Park earlier this week, with preparations taking place ready for their next round of 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Manager Le Guen was praiseworthy of the facilities at Surrey Sports Park and was grateful for being able to prepare his squad at such a high standard venue.

Oman will take on the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday evening at Fulham’s Craven Cottage.
