Chinese Synchronised Swimmers arrive at Surrey Sports Park

31 July 2012

Surrey Sports Park has welcomed its 15th Olympic nation this week as the Chinese Synchronised Swimming team have arrived for pre-Games training.

China took a team bronze medal at the Beijing 2008 Olympics in front of their own fans, and will be looking to repeat the achievement in London as one of the favourites to win a medal.

The Asian nation, training in the University of Surrey-owned 50m pool, will also take part in the duet category of the event.

The Chinese Synchronised Swimming team will begin their Games this Saturday at the Aquatics Centre in the Olympic Village.
