USA Triathletes sign-up to Surrey Sports Park for London 2012 Preparations

Surrey Sports Park will welcome athletes from the USA this summer in the run up to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Five triathletes will arrive in Guildford in late July to begin their preparations for the men’s and women’s triathlon events taking place in Hyde Park, beginning with the women’s event on August 4th.

USA Triathlon were last at Surrey Sports Park in July 2011 to prepare for the London leg of the ITU World Championship, which also served as a 2012 Olympic Games qualifying event for two members of their squad.

USA will join 13 other Olympic and Paralympic teams training at Surrey Sports Park throughout July and August, including Great Britain, Singapore and Mauritius.
