Women TRY Sport Campaign

Today the Women TRY Sport Campaign has been launched nationally, and Surrey Sports Park is getting involved with the initiative to get more women to Pledge to TRY more sport in the run up to the London 2012 Olympics.
You can get involved yourself at Surrey Sports Park with the many options for Women’s Sport available;
Thinking of getting back into netball? Or want to try it for the first time? Get fit while having fun through Back to Netball.
For fun, fitness and new friends, come and try badminton. Suitable for all standards.
Adult and Junior Climbing Courses –
Learn to climb or improve your technique with our range of adult and junior climbing courses. Choose a beginner's course or join the climbing club for dedicated weekly sessions
Adult and Junior Tennis Courses –
As well as casual play, senior and junior programmes are offered, with opportunities for competition, social matchplay and top class coaching for all standards and abilities.
An opportunity for existing or new players to learn new skills and tactics
Casual swimming and courses available for a relaxing swim or to improve upon your technique and fitness
Dance and Group Fitness classes-
We have a large selection of dance and group fitness classes available for fun and fitness from relaxing Yoga to energetic Body Attack, there’s something for everyone.
Not to forget about our young ladies, there are plenty of opportunities for juniors to get involved in exercise and sports with Summer Camps and Junior Olympic tasters on top of the regular courses offered throughout the year.

The campaign has been orchestrated by The Women’s Sports Network with a number of National Governing Bodies & Women’s Sports Organisations. Their website lists over 1000 events set up by NGBs, clubs and sport centres designed for women to TRY sport - on an informal basis.
