The GB men's Futures side defeated Lithuania's Under-23 men 112-105 in Guildford yesterday evening in an overtime thriller and will play again tonight behind closed doors, preparing for tomorrow night’s match.

There are some familiar senior squad faces in the 2012 Futures team, including British Basketball's 2011 'Emerging Athlete of the Year', Devon Van Oostrum who will be looking to earn his senior team place once again.

Van Oostrum commented on his selection for the Futures this year: "I'm excited to be part of the GB Futures programme this year. The sessions have been competitive in camp and everyone is working hard. Lithuania have been strong opposition and there will be more interesting games in the series with them."

A number of players from last year's EuroBasket team have also been selected and will be vying for a position in the senior men's team ahead of this summer’s London 2012 Olympic Games.
