Argentinean Paralympians to train at Surrey Sports Park
10 May 2012

Argentina have become the latest nation to sign up to use Surrey Sports Park as a pre-Games training venue before London 2012.
The Nation’s Paralympic athletes will train at the Sports Park throughout August as they prepare for sports including boccia, football, judo, power lifting, tennis, swimming and table tennis events.
Paul Blanchard, Chief Executive of Surrey Sports Park, said: “We are delighted to welcome Argentina to our impressive line-up of Olympic and Paralympic teams training at Surrey Sports Park. We are proud to be part of a county hosting more teams than any other in the UK and we know that your members and the Guildford community will enjoy training alongside these elite athletes.”
The South Americans will be the 7th Paralympic nation to train at Surrey Sports Park this summer, joining 11 Olympic teams for training camps including Team GB and USA among others. For more information on the teams visiting Surrey Sports Park this summer click here.
