Big Dribble no Wash-out!
27 April 2012

Surrey Sports Park played host to the Guildford leg of The npower Big Dribble this morning which saw a number of local schools, clubs and families come down to take on the 100m hockey course, despite the unsavoury weather!
The campaign, set-up by GB Hockey, aims to raise the profile of hockey as a sport in the UK, increase the support of our teams ahead of London 2012 and get the British public into the sport.
124km were completed this morning, leaving the total 1644.2km as the 2012km target draws ever closer.
Among the participants were Surrey Storm Netball’s Tamsin Greenway and Rachel Dunn and Channel 4’s Tim Lovejoy (pictured), all of whom enjoyed the course and helping to raise the profile of the game.
