England, ranked 3rd in the world, have a few familiar faces in their squad with Surrey Storm favourites Tamsin Greenway, Rachel Dunn and Pamela Cookey all looking to emulate their success so far this season on the international stage.

England have won two from two so far in the three game series, with victories in Birmingham and Bath. The most recent second game of the International Netball Series proved to be another eye opener for the England team as a spirited Barbados side again showed their finesse to give their hosts a real scare in losing by just five goals, 53-48. For Anna Mayes and the backroom staff it’s back to the drawing board ahead of the final match on Saturday as the fans, and the team themselves, will be expecting much better next time round.

Paul Blanchard, Surrey Sports Park Chief Executive, said: “We are building phenomenal experience in hosting international events from a range of different sports at Surrey Sports Park and we pride ourselves on providing the community with opportunities to watch world class athletes on their doorstep. This event continues our already excellent relationship with England Netball and the sport itself.”

Tickets for the fixture sold out within 48 hours of going on sale, but fans can follow updates on Twitter through England Netball and Surrey Sports Park.

Tickets for Surrey Storm’s final home fixture of the standard Fiat Netball Superleague season against Team Bath on Saturday 5th May are still available via the Surrey Storm website.
