Aussie Rules Easter Series a great success

The Aussie Rules Football Easter Series proved a great success at Surrey Sports Park last weekend.
Over 50 hopefuls from throughout Europe attended the Easter Series which included three games open to the public, offering a fantastic taster of the physical game from down under.
The big game of the day saw the AIS AFL Academy take on the European Legion U23's. The AFL proved to be the dominant side, claiming a comfortable win by 134 points.
Lead by High Performance Coach Michael O'Loughlin, the AFL's young stars dominated early, kicking in 15 goals in the first half. The European side fought back but in the end were no match for the Aussies, who finished the game with an impressive 146-12 victory.
The Australian Under 18 team continue their European tour by heading to France for a historic match in Paris against the European Titans.
The day also included a Celebrity Match and the GB Bulldogs vs Irish Exiles.
