RBS 6 Nations Weekend Round-Up

Both the England Men’s Senior and England Women’s teams have maintained 100% win records after the second weekend of 6 Nations action against Italy.
An impressive second half performance for the Men’s side saw them defeat Italy 15-19, despite going into the break with a 6 point deficit. Italy dominated the scrums on the day, but England’s dominant passing and possession meant that they would leave victorious. Harlequins’ Chris Robshaw retained the captain’s armband for the game, with Jordan Turner-Hall making a substitutes appearance.

The job was slightly easier for the Women’s team who ran out comfortable 3-43 winners on an artificial pitch in Recco. Following on from a 0-47 win against Scotland last weekend, England are look like strong contenders for the title, which would be their 7th in as many years.

The Men’s Under 20 fixture fell foul of the cold weather after being postponed on Friday.
All teams will now enjoy a two week break to focus on preparation for home fixtures against Wales at Twickenham Stadium and The Stoop.
