RBS 6 Nations Weekend Round-up

Following various training camps at Surrey Sports Park, all three England sides made the perfect starts to their RBS 6 Nations campaigns against Scotland.
The England Elite side battled back from a half time deficit with a second half Charlie Hodgson try to defeat their opponents 6-13. Harlequins captain Chris Robshaw started his first match with the armband on for his country, while both Mike Brown and Jordon Turner-Hall featured as replacements.

Their U20 counterparts found their win a slightly easier task, recording a comfortable 3-59 win against the Scots. Young Harlequins No.8 Jack Clifford picked up a first half try before his fellow club teammate Charlie Walker bagged one for himself.

The story was similar for the England Women’s side, who crushed Scotland with a nine-try 0-47 win on Sunday evening.

England Saxons also featured at the weekend, coming up against a Scotland A side, but were unable to follow the Elite squad’s suit and fell to a 35-0 defeat. Ugo Monye, Chris Brooker and George Robson from Harlequins all featured in the losing side.
