Healthy link up between Surrey Storm and Nuffield Health

Surrey Storm is pleased to announce a new partnership with Nuffield Heath Guildford Hospital as the club’s Official Private Health Partner.
To celebrate the launch of the partnership, Nuffield Health orthopedic consultants Neil Bradley and Paul Halliwell along with Consultant Musculo-skeletal Radiologist Dr Andrew Carne visited Surrey Sports Park and put their netball skills to the test with Surrey Storm player-coach Tamsin Greenway.
Opened in 1999, Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital offers its patients the very latest acute health-care facilities. The hospital had an £8 million refurbishment and expansion in 2011 and prides itself in providing private high quality hospital care for patients from all across the South East.

Paul Halliwell, Nuffield Health Hospital Orthopedic Consultant, was very impressed with the focus the team has on building core strength and fitness to minimise injuries. He said, “In sport it’s important to have a degree of strength around the body’s core which helps it to deal with risky sporting moves – in netball at this level its even more vital and Storm take this extremely seriously.”
Surrey Storm Franchise Director Gems Leaming, said “We are very pleased to announce Nuffield Health as one of our new sponsors for the2012 season. They will be a great asset to the club and we are very happy to have them on board for the upcoming campaign.”
Surrey Storm are the Netball Superleague franchise for the London & the South East region. The club finished 2011 Superleague runners-up, and are the current Cathedral City Lighter Fast Net Grand Prix Surrey Conference Champions.
