Quins Clean Up in Bath

05 November 2011

Harlequins’ faultless campaign continues in Bath with a 13-26 win over their Premiership rivals.

Quins’ welcomed back fan’s favourite Danny Care to the bench before the game after recovering from a toe injury that ruled him out of the England squad heading to the World Cup in New Zealand.

The first 15 minutes were within Bath’s control, who built a  7-3 lead to stamp authority on the league leaders. A Chris Robshaw try, converted by kicker Nick Evans, were enough to turn the tables for the rest of the match in the 15th minute allowing the away side to take the lead into the dressing rooms at half time.

From then on it was Harlequins who retained full control with little sign of a Bath come back. Danny Care made an appearance in the 58th minute, a return that will only boost Quin’s chances of continuing their excellent run of results.

The win was cemented 5 minutes from the final whistle when Mike Brown touched down, leaving Evans to tidily convert the try and make the final score 13-26.

The full match report is available on the Harlequins Rugby Union website.

Harlequins return to The Stoop this Friday when they face Connaught Rugby in the Heineken Cup.
