England Hockey and Surrey Spartans unite for Open Day

GB international Jonty Clarke to visit Surrey Sports Park for England Hockey Open Day.

The Surrey Spartans 2011 Club Day takes place tomorrow (Saturday) and is a great opportunity for players of all levels and abilities to take part in a variety of fun hockey-related activities.

The Day also marks the Club’s 1st birthday and the opening of this year’s “Get Into Hockey” initiatives.

Great Britain International Jonty Clarke will in attendance from 11am to 1pm to inspire young people and adults alike, introducing them to the inflatable pitch complete with Quicksticks.

The event is free for all to take part.

This year the event will also be hosting one of the group stages of the Surrey Cup. The round robin matches will be starting around 11am and finishing around 5pm. and will be the first competitive fixtures for the Mens 1st XI of the season.
