England Squash to take on Aussies in Team Championships
26 August 2011

England Squash have progressed to the semi-finals of the World Team Championships in Germany.
Following a strong performance in the group stage England continued their unbeaten run into the last 16 with a 3-0 win over Hong Kong, with Selby, Willstrop and Barker all winning without dropping a game.
The quarter finals proved slightly tougher for the Team, as they faced 9th seeds Italy. Matthew and Willstrop sailed through with 3-0 wins, but Selby was unable to tame Amr Swelim and England fell to their first defeat of the tournament. But with two wins on their backs already, England were able to progress to the last 4 where they will face 4th seeds Australia.
Egypt and France complete the line-up, with all of the top four seeds remaining in the tournament.
Play begins today at 14:00 (13:00 GMT). Live coverage of the tournament can be watched at Squashsite.co.uk.
