Badminton Drive at Surrey Sports Park

Surrey Sport Park continued its summer of junior sports camps with two sell-out badminton coaching sessions with former England badminton player, Hayley Connor.

Head Badminton Coach, Connor, who now plays semi-professional badminton in France, lead the sessions which gave local children the chance to develop their skills and game play.

Connor said 'With the success from the weekend at the Badminton World Championships in Wembley it is great to see so many children participating in the sport and hopefully go on to be future stars.' 

On Saturday there is an exciting opportunity to see Olympic Silver Medallist, Gail Emms visit Surrey Sports Park's Badminton Festival.
