Surrey youth climbs onto the national stage
17 August 2011

James Grealey, who trains at Surrey Sports Park’s Climbing Centre, came 9th in the British Mountaineering Council Open Youth Competition at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena.
The annual competition is open to young British climbers and used as a performance monitoring event for GB Climbing Team managers, therefore adding an important competitive edge to the event.
Grealey fought off 5 other competitors to secured 9th place in a tough field of excellent climbers.
