Admirable European performance for Guildford City swimmer

Guildford City Swimming Club member Emma Day finished 5th in the 200m individual medley at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Turkey.

Emma completed the race in 2:23.41, a personal best time, competing in her first ever international competition. She also took part in the 4x100m freestyle team event, finishing 4th with in 3:53.51.

Guildford City Swimming Club train at Surrey Sports Park and regularly enjoy national and international success with their talented team of swimmers.
