Brazil hail Sports Park “perfect”

Following their preparation for the Middlesex and Newquay Surf Sevens, Brazil’s rugby squad were full of commendation for Surrey Sports Park.
Brazil 7’s spent a week here in preparation for the tournaments and went away pleased with their choice of venue.
Manager Joaquín Mina said: “We were very impressed with Surrey Sports Park. The complex has all conditions necessary for rugby training. Excellent accommodation, very good food and a marvelous pitch. All meals were timely served. We were also very impressed with the calm atmosphere around the complex.”
The players were also praise worthy of their experience. Fernando Portugal said: “"Like a place and like a Training Center, was one of the best places to fix our attention on the Tournament and show our best Rugby at London. We have to say thank you, see you soon” with João da Ros adding "Brilliant staying at the Surrey Sports Park. Tank’s for your friendship.” Daniel Gregg rounded up the kudos saying "Nice place, with first level structure, there is no doubt about the conditions of practice, it was perfect."
Having hosted last year’s Women’s Rugby World Cup and being the training home for Harlequins, Surrey Sports Park is rapidly becoming a popular base for elite rugby, boasting ideal facilities for the sport.
