Special guest to attend Saturday’s Festival of Climbing
04 August 2011

Mountaineer Jack Sutcliffe will be at Surrey Sports Park this Saturday (6th) for the next free summer event.
Young climber Jack tackled Mount Everest in 2009, rising to a breath-taking altitude of 8848m above sea-level, after leaving full time work to fulfil his passion for climbing. This Saturday, as a part of an afternoon of free sessions on offer, Jack will deliver a talk on his experiences which will prove inspirational for anyone interested in climbing, from absolute beginner to advanced levels.
As well as Jack’s talk you can take part in a number of free activities to suit everyone, with taster sessions for those just starting out, a Bouldering competition for junior regulars and technique coaching for both male and female climbers.
