GB Future’s Squad head for Germany

After three days of training at Surrey Sports Park the Great Britain Future’s Basketball squad are ready to take on the German Under-23 side in Nuremberg.
The young squad will play a series of 3 games on 22, 23 and 24 July and will go into the matches fully primed after a successful 3 days of training a the Sports Park. With the players aiming for a place in the 2016 Olympics their presence has added to the growing number of talented young people to train in Surrey.
Chris James, returning to Surrey Sports Park as the former coach of Guildford Heat, has hailed the camp a success. “The guys have worked extremely hard this week and have proved that they are worthy of a place in the squad. Hopefully their efforts will be rewarded with some strong performances next week.”
