Surrey Sport Continues to Ride High

The University of Surrey has moved in to the top 40 of the BUCS rankings after the latest points update (28.03.11). Surrey now hold 39th place with a points total of 208 - only 96 points behind last years season total of 304 - with a number of points still to be added for this season. 

Much of the recent achievement can be attributed to the BUCS Conference Cup success enjoyed by Surrey this season with five teams reaching the final of their respective competitions, all held at Surrey Sports Park. Amongst the 17 Conference Cup finals that took place, the Men's Volleyball and Men's Fencing 1st team triumphed in their competitions, commiserations to Women's Rugby, Women's Tennis and Men's Fencing 2nd team who narrowly missed out on first place in their finals.
