Guildford Rugby Festival

Surrey Sports Park hosted another successful rugby festival today. Organised by Guildford Rugby Club young players aged from under 7's to under12's competed for trophies and put on an excellent exhibition of junior rugby.

This is the second festival of junior rugby in 3 weeks at Surrey Sports Park and both days have gone fantastically well. The venue, which held the Women's Rugby World Cup in August last year and a Women's England A International yesterday is proving to become a hot spot of rugby in the area.

Surrey Sports Park held a prize draw for a signed Harlequins Rugby shirt which was won by Luke Cunningham. Luke's team mates from Sutton & Epsom Rugby Club are pictured collecting the shirt on his behalf having just won their Under 9's competition.
