English Junior Squash Champions crowned

07 March 2011

Junior Champs

Four English Junior Squash Champions were crowned at Surrey Sports Park over the weekend at the Technifibre English Junior Championships.

There were some expected, and some unexpected winners, as four of the eight top seeds triumphed. While some were extending their tally of National titles, for others it was a well-earned first title.

Event organiser Nicloa Robinson, said, “Surrey Sports Park was a fantastic venue for the English Junior Champions and the staff could not have been more helpful. We hope to return next year to host the event.”

Boys Under 19 champions Declan James, said, “It’s been a great weekend here at Surrey Sports Park. It’s such a modern, state of the art venue and helps increase the status of our game. I’m already looking forward to coming back next year.”

Surrey Sports Park's very own former world number 18 player, Dominique Lloyd-Walter was on hand to present all the winners with their trophies.
