A celebration of sport at Surrey Sports Park as world records tumble!
Surrey Sports Park opened its doors just over two months ago, and on Friday 28th May the achievements associated with the facility to date were celebrated at the Surrey Sports Park Inaugural Dinner, whilst on Saturday 29th May its Summer of Sport was launched with an Open Day for all.

Surrey Sports Park crew to take on the University of Surrey students in a charity football match for Chase Hospice – Monday 14th June, 4.00pm
To celebrate the start of the World Cup and as part of the Summer of Sport, Surrey Sports Park Crew and the University of Surrey student first team are planning a Charity football match to raise money for local charity, Chase Hospice, on Monday 14th June, kick-off 4.00pm.

Surrey Sports Park set to launch Summer of Sport
Fresh from the successful opening earlier this month, Surrey Sports Park has today announced details of the launch of their Summer of Sport in association with Penningtons Solicitors, with a free, family fun day on Saturday 29th May. The open day will see a host of local and national sports stars take part in a series of celebratory exhibition events and free coaching clinics, including top British swimmer, Mark Foster.

University of Surrey student wins double gold at BUCS Championships
University of Surrey Business Management Undergraduate Margaret Adeoye has returned from the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Outdoor Athletics Championships 2010 in Bedford with two gold medals after winning the women's 100m and 200m finals.

Storm win clash of the titans
Surrey Storm defeated reigning champions Team Bath tonight in one of the greatest games Superleague netball has ever seen. Captain Sonia Mkoloma led Storm out to a raucous full house at Guildford Spectrum who shouted and cheered Storm on to a 43-40 win.

Surrey Storm made easy work of Team Northumbria defeating the visitors by 60-26.
