Club Leaders is a project that aims to train and support leaders of sports clubs, in the business of running a club. This national project is part of the Sport England’s Places People Play Olympic legacy programme and is completely free of charge. The overall aim is to help sports leaders become more successful and sustainable.
As part of their programme the 'Learning Bus' will be coming to Surrey Sports Park on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 July as part of its tour of the country to focus on real people in their own environment, addressing their specific needs.
Anyone is welcome aboard the bus to speak to the Club Leader trainers about the project, including how you can get involved in seminars and apply for their mentoring scheme. There will also be 14 computers available for use to see what Club Leaders offer, as well as the opportunity to take an E-learning module on the spot.
Through the Learning Bus tour, as well as seminars led by subject matter experts across the country, one-to-one mentoring to focus on those clubs most in need, and an online interactive site, Club Leaders offer training in business and financial planning, marketing, governance and facilities management.
The Club Leaders Learning Bus will be available;
Monday 23 - 12:00pm - 7:30pm
Tuesday 24 - 10:00am - 2:00pm
